Built on Roland DG’s print & cut expertise, VG4 introduces workflow improvements for stable output on longer print or print & cut runs. Enhanced, in-sync take-up control supports continuous output and helps maintain media handling during production. Perforation cut allows simplified print separation and continued take-up to reduce post-print finishing time for sticker, label and decal work. These features help maintain throughput and consistency, enabling efficient turnaround while ensuring dependable quality and cutting accuracy across a wide range of applications.
Smarter Operation and Remote Control
VG4 is engineered to reduce operational steps and support efficient production management. After print conditions are set in VersaWorks, jobs can be selected and started from the printer’s 7″ touch panel with the new Direct Print feature. Users can view VersaWorks queues on the touchscreen and send files to output – ideal when the printer and computer are in different rooms, or when quick reprints are needed. Roland DG Connect supports guided setup and remote checks to help maintain a stable output environment.
