Dental Protheses

Dentists make bridges and crowns with the DWX

Dental crowns and bridges are typically produced by dental labs. Cosmetic dentistry standards require prostheses to closely match the natural teeth. Zirconia (zirconium dioxide, ZrO2) is a ceramic, metal free material with excellent durability and biocompatibility. The material is widely used for dental prostheses because of its translucent, white appearance and anti allergic features. It must be milled to achieve its final form.

Copings and crowns are mostly made in large-scale labs because of the high costs related to the equipment required to mill zirconia. Thanks to the DWX Series, also smaller labs can perform these jobs at an affordable price.
